The 2017 season is nearly at an end, with only two races to go and the penultimate to be raced this weekend at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia. This will also be the last of the three consecutive rounds that took Team SUZUKI ECSTAR to Japan and Australia before arriving here. Indeed, the last two races have been positive both for Andrea Iannone and Alex Rins, marking a solid improvement in their development.
Team SUZUKI ECSTAR has released this new video clip from the Motegi MotoGP™ round in Japan following a pre-race party.
Sunny yet bracingly cold weather welcomed Andrea Iannone and Alex Rins on their first day of practice at the Australian GP, where the Italian was able to get 7th place in the combined classification (1’29.604) and the Spaniard is in a provisional 15th place (1’30.085).
Suzuki picked up two awards at this year’s AutoTrader awards ceremony, with the new GSX-R1000R and new V-Strom 650 both celebrated.
With no time to rest, Team SUZUKI ECSTAR is enjoying the good feeling after the advantageous race in Motegi while travelling onwards to Australia, for the second of three far flung races. The 4th and 5th places of Andrea Iannone and Alex Rins in Japan gave the team a boost of encouragement and confidence, which they are now hoping to use to continue the improvement in performance throughout the last races of the championship.
