Exciting news for racing fans the Suzuki 8R Cup has officially been approved as a class for the 2026 regional racing season!
This all-new racing category is a single-make series, designed to keep the bikes as close to standard road models as possible, ensuring fair, competitive, and affordable racing. The series will be hosted in Gauteng, with plans to expand to other regions as interest grows.
Cost-Effective Racing
Keeping costs under control is a key focus. A brand-new 8R Cup bike can be race-ready for as little as R190,000, and with only one set of tyres permitted per round, the series offers an accessible entry point into competitive racing.
